Brandon Oriental Rugs -- This room, beautifully designed to be warm, inviting and functional by the homeowners, was already complete when we were invited to help explore the possibility of improving it further with a different rug from the one originally selected. The homeowners felt that a rug with a slightly cooler palette from what was already in the room would gently contrast with and complement the rest of the room's colors and be worth seeing. We were asked to show several rugs from our inventory to prove whether or not a different rug would be better. This 8x10 reproduction Turkish Oushak design hand-knotted in India fit naturally into the room like the finishing piece to a puzzle; to the delight of the homeowners who are enjoying the welcome result to their experimentation.

"Textile jewelry" to add some bling to your bare floors? Look at all of the colors in this Persian oriental rug selected by our customers. (No filters were used on the image except for "sharpen", so the gemlike sparkle you see is an integral part of the rug.) If you want your home dazzling, consider finding a rug that can delight you as much as this treasure has delighted its owners.

Size Matters and Bucks County, PA Oriental and Decorative Rug Store Brandon Oriental Rugs Won't Leave You Feeling Short-changed
Don't cheat your room with a rug too small to do the job required. A "postage stamp" size rug won't do your Great Room justice. You do NOT want your room to look like it is wearing short pants.
Your rug should work with the rest of your decor in an integrated way. You want to avoid the rug looking like some remote, isolated island in the midst of a vast empty ocean of space.
When you're contemplating fine rugs, you are already planning to do things right. Go all the way. Since 1995 from our one and only Bucks County location (serving all surrounding counties and included communities) Brandon Oriental Rugs can help you find rugs that fit your rooms perfectly.

BrandonRugs.com - "Perfection". A couple weeks ago we posted some images of this room after we installed the rug. Our customer kindly shared this image of her just completed room (after delivery of additional furnishings and realignment of the rug to parallel the floorboards.) The caption she placed on the images she sent is "Perfection". She rightly recognizes what she has accomplished, and looks forward with pride to much enjoyment from her well-considered choices. Oriental Rugs and Gardens Have Much in Common
To some the home in the distance might seem afar off. In truth, the verdant beauty of the world proclaims that "home" is all around wherever we might be.
The concepts of gardens and oriental rugs have much in common (as a little research will reveal to the curious.)
For those embattled by the sterile cold of winter, the memory of a garden, or its symbolic presence in a traditional oriental rug, is the hope of a time and place that will come again.
Some feel it is home; some call it home. Some know it as paradise. We all know what it is. We all know what it feels like. If we are not there, we look forward to being there again. We all know when we are there.

BrandonRugs.com -- Some of the nicest rugs we meet are those we're asked to clean. This is a Persian Heriz from Iran during its intake evaluation prior to transport for its revitalizing wash. The rug looks great (even before its wash) despite more than thirty years of daily wear and tear underfoot in the owner's home. The owner acquired it while working in Iran long ago (before revolution there made Americans unwelcome): proof that beautiful works of art transcend ugly realities in time and space. #rugcleaning #orientalrugs #buckscountyshop #interiordesign #persianrug

New Oriental Rug from Bucks County, PA rug store Brandon Oriental Rugs is One of the First Steps in a Home Makeover by the Homeowners
 |
| Hand-knotted oriental rug selected by the homeowners from Brandon Oriental Rugs makes things look pretty good already; but became just the first of many steps in a major home makeover. |
Homeowners from Bucks County, referred to us by an interior designer, have advanced from the early stages of refurnishing their living room. Their old sofa seen above has since been removed.
The handmade oriental rug they selected from Bucks County, PA rug store Brandon Oriental Rugs as one of the first steps in the room makeover enabled them subsequently to make decisions at a relaxed pace to advance their plans. The room was made comfortable, intimate and beautiful by their decision to introduce the traditional rug. Had they done no more, they could have been proud of their room as seen above.
But the rug inspired them with new ideas to update the living room: their main living space and site of so much that is important in the life of their family.
The images below show how things have rapidly advanced with the home's interior design. A new sofa, and some additional handmade rugs from Brandon have brought a fresh elegance to the expanded living room and adjacent spaces.
